The remarkable properties of comfrey have been recognised for years both as a treatment for wounds and also as a liquid feed for tomatoes and other fruit, vegetables and flowering plants. It is rich in potash and trace elements, vitamins, minerals and hormones and is odour free, unlike home-made comfrey. As a liquid feed for tomatoes it is unsurpassed. It is a rich source of potash micronutrients and growth promoting agents. Traditionally it has been made by steeping comfrey leaves in water for several days and then drawing off.500ml (dilutes to 20 litres).
